Yoga Workshops

 

When I became a Yoga teacher the first thing I wanted to do is to teach a 'workshop' style of practice into a community setting. Where participants felt comfortable to play & explore with the many facets of Yoga in a relaxed & open environment. Where your free to ask questions. Where your taught with lovng-kindness & compassion with plenty of time to learn.

MoveWell Yoga Workshops nourish the mind & body in a welcoming & safe space. You can truly be yourself, move at your own pace & allow yourself to explore all the benefits that Yoga has to offer. I will guide & support you through the practice with plenty of time to take a pause & allow the poses, breath work & meditation to land. My workshops include the following yoga styles:

Vinyasa-A style of yoga where we flow through poses using the breath to guide us in a kind & gentle way.

Qigong-An ancient Chinese practice of slow stretches, gentle flowing movements & stillness that helps to unblock channels allowing Qi(life-force energy) to flow.

Yin-During this passive style of yoga we hold the poses for 2-3 mins targeting the deeper tissues & joints/ligaments.

​Each workshop focuses on a specific theme which allows you to discovery more of what yoga has to offer & how you may incorporate the teachings into your daily life. Yoga is more than moving through poses. Its rich history & philosophy have shaped how Yoga is taught today. It 's about fostering a sense of awareness within ourselves & the world we live in. Yoga teaches us to be aware of our words, thoughts & actions & that we are very much part of a universal connection.

MoveWell Yoga Workshops are Inclusive to everyone so if you've never tried yoga before, these workshops are perfect for you. Numbers are kept below 10 ensuring there is plenty of space to move around. I encourage participants to meet there bodies where they're at, so if you choose not to do something within the session..that's absolutely fine. This is YOUR practice. A time for YOU.
